IMPORTANT NOTE: The American Society of Association Executives updates the CAE Exam Content Outline every five years. The current CAE Exam Content Outline took effect with the December 2020 exam and continues through the May 2025 exam. In addition to releasing an updated CAE Exam Content Outline, ASAE will likely publish a new edition of Professional Practices in Association Management and update its recommended Core Resources for the CAE.
